About Me

Hello, I’m Brooke - though I also answer to , "MUM!" shouted at full volume.

I’m a mum of three, professional multitasker, and someone who runs on coffee, chaos, and the occasional Vegemite sandwich.

I suffered from morning sickness well beyond the 12-week mark and felt unwell throughout all of my pregnancies. Truthfully, I hated being pregnant. Each time was different, but one thing never changed. I was sick, exhausted, and just trying to get through. I was terrified of birth, believing everything I heard and saw. I watched far too much Teen Mum, which only fed my fear. During my first pregnancy with my daughter, I remember standing in the library, completely overwhelmed by the mountain of information thinking, “Where’s the manual that just tells me what to do?”

The hospital birth classes I attended didn’t help much either, they felt cold and impersonal, like a conveyor belt of information. So I thought, “I’ll just go with the flow. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that birth isn’t something you ‘go with the flow’ on. You don’t get that moment back—the moment you meet your baby for the first time.

Over time, I realised that birth isn’t just a medical event; it’s a deeply personal experience that deserves care, compassion, and the right support. Looking back on my own birth experiences, I realised how important it is to feel empowered and in control throughout the process.

Now, as a certified birth and postpartum doula, I’m here for the real, raw, and nitty-gritty side of motherhood. Birth is hard, transformative, and incredibly powerful. Every woman deserves to be seen, heard, and fully supported.

I’m not about the Insta-perfect version of motherhood. I’m here for the messy, chaotic, and exhausting parts. So many women are left feeling like their birth experience was taken away from them, where fear replaces empowerment. I’m here to help you reclaim your voice and advocate for the birth you deserve.

And let’s not forget about postpartum, where finding time to make a sandwich can feel like winning an Olympic medal! Whether it’s juggling the emotional rollercoaster or just finding time to eat, I’m here to help you feel supported and nurtured during those early weeks of motherhood.

Whether you’re planning a home birth, hospital birth, or caesarean in Adelaide, I’m here to support you in whatever way feels right for you. My approach is nurturing and empowering, ensuring you feel confident and in control of your journey.

If you’re in Adelaide and wanting to know more, let’s grab a coffee (I can always use one more!)

Love Brooke.
